first musical steps as a guitarplayer, later first occupation with electric bass, double bass and drums​

1996-2005

Lessons with various bass and guitar teachers in the Kassel area

(Wolfgang Rennert, Jürgen Fromm, Patrick Fehr, Berthold Mayrhofer)

​

2005-2013 

Music studies at the "Musikakademie der Stadt Kassel" 

with Jan Harborth (double bass) and Michael Tröster (guitar)

 

2008-2019

wokring as a music teacher at various music schools in the Kassel area

​

2009

Degree "Diplom-Musiklehrer" for guitar and double bass

​

2013

Degree "Orchesterreifeprüfung" for doublebass

​

2014-2016

As an academist part of the double bass section of the Kassel State Orchestra

 

since 2016

Various jobs as substitute and temporary contracts in various orchestras and ensembles

("Göttinger Symphonieorchester", "Kassel State Orchestra", "South Westphalia Philharmonic", "Gütersloh Chamber Orchestra", "Hanover Federal Police Orchestra", "Hanover Festival Orchestra" and many more).

Since then further studies in jazz/rock/pop-music on electric bass and double bass

 

since 2019

Permanent position as double- and electric bass player with the Federal Police Orchestra in Hanover.

In addition, working as a freelance musician in all musical styles, touring through Germany and the rest of Europe
